Questions

What do I receive when I buy a book?

Each ebook is a PDF file. After your payment is confirmed you receive an email with a secure download link for every book in your order. The purchasing browser also shows the download links on the order page.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Checkout only needs your email address, which is where your books are sent. You can retrieve an order later with your order number and that same email address.

How do I pay?

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Depending on what is enabled for the store, you can pay with UPI, debit or credit cards and other methods shown in the payment window. We never see or store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.

What is in the complete collection?

All six standard ebooks: The Things Growing Underneath, The Thirteenth Testimony, A Mercy of None, Sorry For Your Loss, The Village That Faced Away and The Bride Who Never Crossed the Threshold. You receive six separate PDFs. The Special Edition is sold separately.

What is the Special Edition?

The Truth Has Seven Faces is a separate, standalone ebook delivered as one PDF. It is not part of the six-book collection and it does not include any physical items.

How long do download links work?

Each link works for 72 hours and for up to 10 downloads. Save the PDF to your device once you have downloaded it. If a link expires, use Find my order to get fresh links.

My payment went through but no email arrived.

First check your spam or promotions folder. Email can occasionally be delayed; your payment is safe and you will never be asked to pay again for the same order. Use Find my order to get your links, or contact support with your order number.

Can I get a refund?

Because ebooks are delivered instantly, refunds are limited. Please read the delivery and refund policy for the cases we cover, such as duplicate payments or files we could not deliver.

Are these books suitable for everyone?

No. The Hidden Secrets publishes horror for readers aged 18 and over. The stories contain mature and disturbing themes.
