This policy explains what personal data The Hidden Secrets collects when you browse and buy, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • Your email address, so we can deliver your ebooks and let you retrieve your order.
  • Your name, only if you choose to give it at checkout.
  • Order details: what you bought, the price, and the time of purchase.
  • Payment references from Razorpay (order and payment IDs, payment method type and status). We never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank login.
  • Technical data needed to keep the store secure, such as your IP address for rate limiting and fraud prevention, and records of download link use.
  • Your confirmation that you are 18 or older and that you accepted our terms.

Your cart is stored only in your own browser and contains product codes, not personal data. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

  • To take payment and deliver what you bought (performance of our contract with you).
  • To send transactional emails about your order. We do not send marketing email.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet accounting and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs to work for us:

  • Razorpay, to process payments.
  • Resend, to send order emails.
  • Supabase and Vercel, which host our database, files and website.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 8 years in India). Security logs and webhook records are deleted after 90 days. Order-lookup links expire after 30 minutes.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, or raise a grievance. Some records must be retained for legal reasons. Write to thehiddensecrets1105@gmail.com from the email used for your order.
